The six arrived at Lisa's house.
"Oh god, I hope Adele is alright."
Jordy cried, jotting in her journal.
Jordy was a writer. She loved to take
account of their adventures. She filled three books since their first encounter with
a demon.
Grace stared at Adele. Her forehead was bleeding and her arm looked
twisted.
"We should call Traci. She's pre med." She suggested.
"I'll
go call her." Josh told.
"Call Fiona and Dani. They'll want to know
about this." Grace reminded.
"What about Amanda, Jason and Sarah?"
Josh asked.
"Amanda's still young to see this. Jason's on a date and
Sarah is doing some Monty Python thing again." Grace said.
"Okay."
He nodded.
Lisa was by Adele's side.
"C'mon Adele." She
cried, holding her hands.
"I wish I could do a spell." Tiffany said,
hugging Grace.
Adele squinted her eyes in pain. Josh came back.
"Traci,
Dani and Fi are coming over. Oh yeah Tiffany, your mom called and you're needed at
home." He said.
"Can you drive me?" She asked.
He nodded.
They proceeded to the door.
"Call us ok?" Tiffany asked.
Jordy
nodded.
A few minutes later, the doorbell rang.
"Aaaaaahhhhh!!"
Jordy cried.
"Just the door, not a demon." Lisa reminded, walking
to the door.
It was Traci, Fiona and Dani.
"I heard the bad news.
Omigod, omigod Adele!" Dani yelled, rushing it.
"I'm missing an
Nsync concert for this." Fiona whined.
"Adele was attacked by a
demon." Jordy whispered.
"Forget Justin, Adele!" Fiona called,
running to the couch.
Traci began cleaning her wounds and making a splint
for her arm.
"What freak did it this time?" Fiona wondered.
"Some
tall demon guy. He was super strong! He wore this black cloak with a hood and had
red eyes." Jordy read from her notebook.
"We can so slay him in
three minutes if we get the others." Dani told.
"You weren't there
to see what he did." Lisa reminded.
"Is she going to be okay?"
Fiona wondered.
"We don't know. I didn't even know she was coming from
England. Josh, Lisa, Tiff, Grace and I were just patrolling when we heard our favorite
Brit's cry." Jordy explained.
"I just hope she's fine." Dani
said, looking at Adele.
Two hours later, Adele opened her eyes.
"Adele?"
Grace whispered.
"Are you all alright?" She wondered.
Fiona
laughed.
"So typical of Adele, caring about others before herself."
She said.
"We're all okay, what about you? Traci asked.
"Wounds
will heal." She smiled.
"Not to sound all non-sympathetic, but we
got to cut to biz, who, or what the hellmouth did this to you? Cuz I'm so smelling
revenge." Lisa said, slamming her fist together.
"His name is Alrinach.
He's bad, real bad." Adele said in a weak voice.
"Write this down
Jordy." Traci reminded.
"Alrinach is this bloody ole demon from
the G'rich clan. He means trouble. He wants to vanquish humanity. He wants to start
off with us." She told.
"Why us? I'm just a regular girl who has
regular obsessions." Fiona told.
"Nsync." They all said at
the same time.
"He knows we kill demons. Since he killed the last British
slayer, he's after the next. One of us is the next slayer. One of us." Adele
told.
"Please let it not be me. I've got to finish college." Traci
said, crossing her fingers.
"Prolly Lisa or Rachel. Tough girls all the
way." Grace smiled.
"He vowed to kill all of us. I came here to
warn you and he knew I was here so he attacked me." She finished.
"Let's
hope we're all safe." Jordy sighed.
"He's out there." Adele
told, looking outside the window.
Josh and Tiffany were on the road in his
black Jeep.
"You owe me a shoe." Josh reminded.
"Shut
up one shoe josh." Tiffany joked.
Bah! Bah! Bah! A strange noise came
from the car.
"What was that?" Josh asked.
"Your gas
is low." Tiffany pointed.
"Damn Jason!" Josh shouted, stopping
his car.
"Why did you stop the car?" She asked.
"So
I can plan out a route, closest to the gas station without running out of gas. Hopefully
we have enough." He told.
Tiffany looked ahead of them. From the dark
shadows, emerged a figure. It was Alrinach.
"Floor it Josh!" Tiffany
shouted.
"Huh?" He asked, staring at a map.
It was too late.
Alrinach grabbed the front of his car. His scarlet eyes glowed in the dark.
"Fasten
your seatbelts. One way ticket to hell." Alrinach whispered.
